The Story Map

Their life, drawn as a road you can walk.

Every moment you save becomes a stop on a winding path through an illustrated world. Scroll back and the chapters recolour around you — peach for pregnancy, mint and sky for the first year, lilac and lemon for the toddler years.

It is the opposite of a grid of thumbnails. You can see, at a glance, how far you have come and what is still ahead.

The stars rate the moment, never you

They say how complete a memory is, so you know which ones are worth going back to. Nothing is ever marked late, missing or behind.

One star — the moment is recorded.

Two stars — it has a photo or a video.

Three stars — it has media and a note or voice.

It starts at a positive test on a Tuesday morning. Growingwe is built to hold all of it — and to keep drawing the road forward long after the first birthday.

Pregnancy becomes chapter one

Everything you saved before birth — the scans, the bump photos, the first heartbeat — carries over untouched the day you record the birth and give your baby their real name. Nothing is migrated, nothing is lost.

A pregnancy is nine months of moments that nobody photographs properly. Growingwe gives them somewhere to go — and gives the mother a health record of her own, kept separately from the child’s.

How it’s organised

A vaccination record is not a memory.

So Growingwe keeps them apart. The story stays a story; the health records and the paperwork live beside it, searchable and reminded, without ever cluttering the book itself.

Care

The paperwork of a childhood, kept straight.

Which vaccine, on what date, from which doctor. What the paediatrician said in February. When the next appointment is. It is all somewhere already — Growingwe puts it in one place and reminds you from it.

Growingwe is not a medical tool

It stores, organises and reminds you from schedules and records that you entered. It never diagnoses, never recommends treatment, never changes a dose, and never interprets a document you upload. Every health screen in the app says so.

Time Capsules

Write to the person they haven’t become yet.

A letter for their tenth birthday. A voice note from the week they were born. A message for the day they leave home. Choose a date, write it, and seal it.

  • Sealed means sealed. Once a capsule is closed it cannot be read before its date — not by the family, not by us, not even by the person who wrote it.
  • Text, photos, video or voice. Whatever you want them to have on the day it opens.
  • The countdown measures their life, not the file. Four percent of the way to eighteen is a far kinder number than a count of days.

Family

A book two parents can write together.

One person should not be the archive of a whole childhood. Invite the people who were there, and let them add the moments you missed.

  • Invite by name. The other parent, a grandparent, anyone you trust. They get their own account and their own view of the story.
  • Access is granted per person, not per role. A grandmother can see the story without seeing health records or the document vault. You choose, member by member.
  • Every share says who will see it. By name, before it happens. A memory can be only you, the whole family, or a few chosen people.
  • Nothing is ever public. There is no link a stranger can find, no feed, and nothing leaves the app unless you send it.
